My Story + Practice

I come from people who live by the water. New Orleans. Guyana. Ghana. I come from abundance and familial protection, summers full of morning tea turning into pantries of herbs and folk remedies. I use words and movement to explore the body as a sensual site of transformative healing. My work serves as testimony and activation.

I bring 25+ years of dance and movement training, degrees in Black Studies and Dance Composition, undefined ancestral intuitive practices, and more than 3 years of studying Afro-Diasporic herbal and traditional care practices. I bring Reiki and Sex Doula certifications, and a growing understanding of how movement can aid in our healing journeys.

  • All of our products are handcrafted in small batches with intention.

  • My purpose is to make universal knowledge and healing resources accessible, and to assist in your journey to know and heal yourself. As such, I understand that the healing relationship I foster with you is temporary and centered around your spiritual, physical and emotional welfare; it is not centered around my self interest. This relationship can end if it is terminated by mutual agreement or by either individual party.

  • In this space, we honor that sexual energy is spiritual energy. Sexual energy is sensual energy. Sexual energy is healing energy. Sexual energy is creative energy.

  • In this space, we listen to our bodies, as they are our source of healing and our vessels for spirit. I value and build inner knowledge and gut wisdom in determining who is invited into this co-created sacred space. I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that I feel uncomfortable with for any reason.

  • As the healer caring for this space, I will make sure I show up to our time grounded and clear. I reserve the right to cancel a session if I am unable to serve in a healing capacity, and will honor my commitment to clear communication.

  • I will maintain confidentiality and the sacredness of the space. Our intimate time is our own and information from our sessions will not be shared outside of the space without mutual consent, unless there is harm to self or community that must be addressed.

  • In our time together we will clearly and confidently communicate what we do like and don’t like, what we will accept and won’t accept, and what we do desire and don’t desire; and communicate as those likes, needs, and acceptances shift over time.

  • I may use physical touch if we decide that a touch-based somatic approach to healing is desirable and appropriate. If I do so, I will always touch consciously and with the attitude to do no harm, with concern for your growth; for the safety of both/all parties; and to honor the agreed boundaries established. I will co-create clear agreements with you before engaging in any form of bodywork.
